Hello my name is Omar and this is my Y6t year book page. Sports events: Cross country was held in December it Was a fun event for all the students in Uplands (I came secondL) primary had to run 1km (1lap) year 7 and 8 did 2km year 9 and ten did 4km and IB did 5km .we also do PE with Mr lees a very hard trainer we did 4 different sports with him:football, baseball, touch rugby and cricket Langkawi: Langkawi was a really cool trip for year six. We went to the mangrove the best was when we got on the boat and went so fast racing the other boats , the fish farm, the snake sanctuary, beach, (lots of timesJ and me and some friends went around the beach catching crabs)boom- boom court ,bowling, swimming in the hotel, batik, underwater world ,a little bit of work and we made a song, the cable car but it was closed so… we interviewed tourists and at the last night we had a campfire for awards but most of us made castles overall Langkawi was a exiting trip HOLES the book and the movie: In class we’ve been reading an awesome award winning book named “holes” and what was really cool for us was when we had finished the book…we watched the movie. I think its one of my favorite movie because it’s simple, funny and cool Happy day points and star of the week: In class we have been doing something called happy day points its when the whole class does something good we get a point when we get 50 points we go to a really fun place x].And we have something ells called star of the week its when someone does something to do with the PYP student profile and people vote if they seen you do anything from the PYP student profile Class mates: we have 18 people in our class and their names are,Omar,Fahim,Will,Hiral,Colby,Poa,kuan, kai, shafick,Havishyan,Sean, Brittany,Malika, Mai, Komal, Evita, Aini and Lauren. Most of our class is good at P.E, language and math and the nationalities in our class are Malaysian, Chinese, Korean , American, Indian, British, Tai and Nigerian and we have a mix of religions Muslim,Hindu,Christian, free thinker and Buddhist. And our class if fairly good at working together. Opinion of the year: the things I liked was Langkawi ,UOI p and some lessons. I liked langkawi because we traveled away from home and we did a lot of be activities that I liked but what was disappointing was the cable car was closed and the last day in the hotel was kind of boringbut I think overall I think was a 7.5/10 could be a little better.UOI: Most of the assessments were good I liked the explores, light and stories was ok my best was explorers because I liked the person we did his name was Herman Cortes stories is the one we are doing now and so far am enjoying it but the computers are super slow! Light was cool I Fahim and Will made a rainbow. My favorite lessons are P.E ,swimming and math .
Dear Omar, I have written some comments to assist with the editing of your page. Why is it all written in italics?- on the slant Hello my name is Omar and this is my Y6t year book page.
Is there a reason why it is typed like this and not filling the whole line?

Lauren: Hey. I think you're page is quite good- if you don't count the mistakes of spelling people's name.
And I think you need abit more organisation. Like the way you started your first sentence about sports, why don't you add something like giving an intruduction and details of what you want to talk about?
Ambika: Yeah. Same thought.

Dear sir/madam
Mangrove tour
Thank you for inviting us for the mangrove tour. We enjoyed the group of eagles flying around. I wish the monkeys jumped on the boat but still it was awesome, the bats pooped everywhere, the fish farm had really nice fish, the sting ray was the best .and the really fast race at the end was fun.
We had a great time with you and your workers we hope we ca come again next year
Yours sincerely
