Lauren: Hi, Ambika! I like your page, you've mentioned all sorts of things. But there are still some mistakes to correct. Good luck!
Ambika Soods year book page

Hey, my name is Ambika. This is my year book page.

My learning highlights were my summative assessments. I think that working with people you never worked with before was a great idea. The whole class co-operated when it was time for our assessments.
I also enjoyed Carols by candle-light. I loved singing “Christmas in about 3 minutes” and other Christmas songs. It was fun with the whole of primary.
I was very happy with the E.C.As I have done. I had made a good choice of E.C.As; the netball club, choir, Art and skills club I was teaching with Ms McKinnon, badminton and cats.
Here is my favourite quote:
We can not do great things in this world; we can only do small things with great love.
This quote was by Mother Theresa. She was a very nice person the world loved. The person all loved.

I had some goals which I followed sometimes. Here they are:

  1. To be neat in my work
  2. To listen to my teachers instructions
  3. To always show enthusiasm
  4. To always smile
  5. To help others when they need it

I had a lot of fun on book week dress up day. I loved the way all of us dress up.

1. Lauren: Wow! A lovely one you've done! But don't yolu think you need to change the backround or change the word colour?
It is hard to see, you know... Good Luck!

We all went for our residential trip to Langkawi. We all co-operated with the teachers once we reached Langkawi. We had a lot if fun. I loved the food in Boom Boom corner. It was cheap but tasty. It was a great experience to touch the snakes. But even though it was having fun, it was kind of sad for me. My mother was all the way in India and I was all the way in Langkawi.
My friends ; Natasha, Lauren, Daania and Erica comforted me when I was feeling lonely. I was as happy as could be.

I have enjoyed year 6 so far. But, unfortunately, I have to go to year 7 sometime.

Mrs Teese: Well done Ambika. Please see me so I can help you with the final touches.

Lauren: I like your story, I am sad that Year6 is nearly over too... :( :(

Dear Madam,

Trip to Langkawi

When we went to Langkawi we all got excited. It was fun while we where there.

We liked the Mangrove tour and the Snake Sanctuary a lot. We all learned how to work together and the Bowling I think was a new experience for nearly everybody who never bowled before and who bowled but after a long time they were going to do it again. The fish farm was amazing just to see how he touched the sting ray. It was a nice trip especially the gigantic eagle. It was really big. Also the hotel was just perfect. The mangrove tour was great even when the monkeys jumped inside the boat. It was wonderful how the eagles swept down towards the water and took the chicken pieces.

It was a wonderful time and I am sure just like me everybody loved the trip. Thank you for following us and we hope you had a great time.

Yours Sincerely,

Ambika Sood
